About Wikidream

Wikidream is an idea that started with a conversation about how strange dreams are, and how it would be funny and meta to have a dream about exploring dreams. It turned into a short story about a fictional website called Wikidream, wherein the entries in Wikidream got creepier and creepier as you kept navigating through the website.

I showed the story to my friend, who was creeped out but really liked the idea of Wikidream, and offhandedly told me “this would be a really cool game”, and in my head, I thought “absolutely no way, that’s way too much work for what is basically a shit-post equivalent of a short story.”

But much like the Wikidream itself, it kind of became an idea that wouldn’t die. I kept thinking about it, how it would look as a game, what the mechanics would be, etc., and before I knew it, I had started working on Wikidream, the game.

The sounds of Wikidream.

Take a listen to the award-winning soundtrack of Wikidream. And by award-winning, I mean it won the award for my favorite soundtrack I’ve ever designed.

Have I designed a soundtrack? No, but that’s hardly relevant.
